Grant Resources

U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security – FEMA
Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) Grants are a section of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and “support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The primary goal is to reduce injury and prevent death among high-risk populations.”
State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grants.
We make it our business to be like a good neighbor, helping to build safer, stronger and better educated communities across the United States. Through our company grants, we focus on three areas: safety, education, and community development.
Tip: Liaison with your local State Farm Insurance representative. A letter of recommendation from the branch manager can increase your chances to receive the fire safety grant
Walmart Community Grants Program funds K-12 public or private school fire safety initiatives.
Local community grants are awarded through an open application process and provide funding directly from Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities to local organizations in the U.S. Don’t know how to determine your local facility? Don’t worry, the application will assist you.


National Fire Protection Association – Structure Fires in Schools. Sept. 2020
This report presents data on structure fires in school properties for the five-year period from 2014 through 2018. School properties
include high school and middle schools, elementary schools (including kindergarten), preschools, and unclassified non-adult
schools. Fires in vehicles or non-structure fires on school grounds are not included in this report. Download the report HERE
